Mike looked at Neo's direction, wondering what happened to this young man now. They had been working in Kevin's office to help him settle the matters related to Black Street. So far, their progress was slow since there were a lot of unstable variables.

"Hey, Neo, are you alright?"

"What do you think?" Neo asked back, his voice sounded soulless.

Mike shook his head. "If you need some fresh air, you can get out of the clan's residence and take a break first. I'm sure that Boss won't mind if you go outside for a while."

"If I leave, do you think that you can finish the work?"

"I'm still here, Neo."

Turning his head, Neo could see Lou walked into the room with a stack of documents in his hand. It was clear that there was another batch of documents that Kevin would need to review again.

Lou looked at Neo with a deadpan expression. "Even if Mike is bad at handling these paperworks, I'm confident that I'm good at it. Go and have some fresh air."

"Fine."

"By the way, where's Boss?"

"He's with Kanae in their room, probably having some morning talk," Mike replied and yawned. It was still early in the morning, so he still felt sleepy. Originally, he wanted to train again but upon seeing Patrick in the training hall, he quickly changed his mind.

He didn't want to be beaten up brutally by Patrick.

Lou nodded his head, not finding it strange at all. The two of them had been together for quite some time and Ryukalin Clan members had already come to a tacit agreement to overlook anything related to Kevin and Kanae. If they wanted to spend an entire day together for a date, no one would voice their protest.

At most, they would ask them to finish their work either before or after the date.

Since both Kevin and Kanae could do their work splendidly, no one seemed to be bothered if they asked for a day off. After all, their work would still be done very quickly.

"Will they go on a date again?" Neo asked curiously.

Lou shook his head. "If you have so much free time, why don't you search for a girlfriend yourself."

Mike shook his head at Neo's expression. "Are you still claiming that you want to marry your laptop?"

Neo hugged his laptop closely to him as he shouted. They always made fun of him. Hmph! So what if he loved his laptop? It was a far better girlfriend than anyone because he could use it to play all day long. No one would ever complain even if he stayed in front of his laptop overnight.

Well, it was because he had to do his work.

Lou shook his head. "Go and get some fresh air, Single Dog."

Turning his head to look at Mike, he found that Mike was already busy sorting out the documents for Kevin to take a look later. He felt that he was betrayed by his two close friends.

"Oh, no worry. My girlfriend will pass it to me in five minutes, so I can eat while standing guard."
