Chapter 7 Hogwarts Express (Part 1)

According to the tradition of Hogwarts, every student, whether he is a Muggle or a pure-blooded wizard, must take a train to the school, but wizards living in the wizarding world will apparate directly to the platform, only living in Muggles. The wizards of the world struggled to reach the platform through King's Cross Station.

Senior seniors will go to the carriages of each college, and only freshmen will sit with each other regardless of college. While passing by the Slytherin carriage, Pomona saw Bella Black again. Although the last time we met was half a month ago, she lowered her head when she passed by her, using the steam train. Smoke covered her figure and pushed her cart to the newborn carriage.

The shopping list sent by Hogwarts stated that she would bring a pet, so when she walked to the carriage, cats of various colors and breeds wore around under people’s feet, and many were allergic to cats. People keep sneezing. The first few boxes of the carriage were already full of students. These people seemed to know each other and kept throwing things to play around. She had to squeeze past the crowd and found an empty compartment near the back of the car. After the door closed, she finally got clean for a moment.

"Severus is coming, there is still room here!" Not long after she was cleaned up, she heard someone shouting. She followed the voice and looked at it. It was actually Lily Evans who had met in Diagon Alley last time. With her yelling, a few seconds later the gloomy, greasy Snape appeared. When Pomona’s eyes swept past her, she felt as though she was suffocating. , But he obviously didn't recognize her, and he opened his mouth slowly and said, "Is anyone sitting here?"

"No...no one." Pomona stammered. Then she remembered. When she went out today, she remembered using magic. No one except her hair could see her veil blood. , Her wand seemed to have a character, no matter how she tried to cover her hair to make it look less flowing, it wouldn't work. Who would call her wand's core be Veeva's hair.

"Go in, Lily." Snape said. After they were all seated, Snape closed the box door. The other people who were looking for a place turned and left as soon as they saw the situation inside. It was finally completely quiet.

"Hello, this is Lily Evans, you are..." Lily, who was sitting across from her, stretched out her hand first.

"Pomona Martin." She also reached out and shook Lily back.

   "Pomona?" Lily exclaimed.

"Yeah, what's the matter?" She deliberately pretended to be stupid, because Snape's face became more gloomy the moment she heard the name.

"Nothing." Lily stuck out her tongue. "It's just that you have the same name as a friend I know."

Pomona didn't think that people with only one side could be called friends. She glanced at Snape secretly again. He obviously didn't intend to introduce himself or shake hands. The sunlight dimmed when he passed by.

   "His name is Severus Snape."

"Hello." Pomona greeted her with a voice not much louder than a mosquito, but Snape put his hands around his chest and looked at her with alert eyes.

"He's like this, he doesn't like to talk, don't mind." Lily was so happy that her eyes became two crescents. "Why are you alone?"

"My relative is in the front carriage. He is in fifth grade this year."

"Oh, then which college is he in?"

   "Hefpaff."

A "bad" expression flashed across Lily's face.

Pomona looked at Snape with a sneer smile on his face. It was obvious that he was also a prejudice against Hefpaff, and he instilled this prejudice into Lily.

"The food at the welcome party is traditional dishes provided by Hefpaff, and you will have surprises at that time."

"It's amazing, is this what you expect from Hogwarts?"

As soon as Snape spoke, it made people feel depressed. What's wrong with liking to eat?

"You can't live without food, even dementors need food."

"Dementor?" Lily heard another new term.

"A terrible magical creature. They will **** all your happiness and hope away. That is their food."

"How come there are such terrible creatures? Why not destroy them?"

"There must be a reason for existence. Hogwarts is the safest. They dare not attack anyone as long as they stay in school."

"You seem to like to scare people." Snape said triumphantly with a "I have insight into everything about you", "Others are more scared than you, so you feel safe, don't you?"

"If you don't speak, I will be very grateful to you." Pomona said with no anger. She had never met such annoying people when she grew up. He was like a dementor, which made people feel uncomfortable. To the slightest enthusiasm.

"I dare to say, I must be the worst student in the class." Lily worriedly said, "I don't know a lot of what you said."

"No, Lily, there are a lot of students from Muggle families. As long as you work hard, you can learn faster than those pure-blood families." Pomona comforted her, but Snape seemed unaware of the worries of his companions. Same without saying a word.

During their conversation, the train started. With the rumbling of the engine, the train drove out of London and galloped along the fields of cattle and sheep, and the noisy carriages gradually quieted down.

Pomona felt at a loss when facing two people with completely different personalities, and didn't know what topic to talk about. However, Lily Evans and Severus Snape took out their textbooks as if they were conscious of their hearts, and began to read quietly.

Yes, Pomona met a good student who is said to be able to preview textbooks. She herself never thought about taking the book to pass the time on the express. It seems that she has nothing else to do except sleep.

The train departed at eleven o'clock. It was about 12:30, and there was a loud noise from the aisle. A woman with silver hair and a thin, old-looking woman with a cigarette in her mouth opened the compartment door and asked. , Asked loudly "Would you like to buy something to eat?"

"No, thank you." Snape said blankly, the nearest to the door.

"Are you sure? There are still seven hours to school."

"My mother said, don't buy anything sold by suspicious people." Snape's tone became more sullen.

Lily obviously wanted to say something. She was fidgeting in a hurry. Pomona understood her feelings because she heard Lily's belly screaming.

"No, we brought our own food." Pomona took out a picnic basket, and before the old woman could say anything, Snape slammed the door shut.

Then, he continued to read the book as if nothing had happened. Pomona and Lily glanced at each other at the same time, just as Lily’s stomach began to scream again.

"I'm so sorry, we set off in a hurry in the morning, I didn't eat anything."

"Don't worry, I made a lot of food, enough for us to eat together." As she said, she opened the magic picnic basket and put roast chicken, sandwiches, tiramisu, orange juice and salad on the empty seat next to her.

"Wow, how can this basket hold so many things?" Lily looked at the food on the seat in shock.

"This is magic, magic." Pomona said triumphantly, and then turned to look at Snape. "Are you going to join us? I did it for four."

Snape turned around and continued reading with his back to them.

"Severus!" Lily was angry, but Snape remained unmoved.

  Weirdo.

Pomona didn’t know why this person didn’t like to lead other people’s kindness so much, but she didn’t bother to care about him. In contrast, she liked Lily Evans better. She was really a good girl.
